For this Autumn Winter 2019/2020 collection, Ares embodies ideas of futurism with modern design elements in contrast with historical references showcasing metal armour worn in battle. The collection was inspired by architectural references, provoking and innovative garment showcasing fabric manipulation technique. The addition of metal studs tie interest into the metal armour worn throughout battle.

Such armour was worn by English medieval knights, populerised in the 14th century CE. Often crafted from iron or steel, the plated armour would protect the wearer from the ariel attacks of archers or the powerful blows from an opponents long swords. Predating the solid plate armour, chain mail suits gave suitable protection and freedom of movement from the 9th century CE.
